For this piece I wanted to further explore the brush tool in Illustrator. I used the brush tool to make the outlines and I colored the image using photoshop. I also experimented by adding texture to the image.

Manuscript
I chose a quote from one of my favorite TV characters Andy Bernard from my favorite show The Office. Andy said this is in an interview in one of the final episodes of the final season of The Office, this quote stands out so well particularly because of the context in which it was said. You watch all the employees grow such a bond with each other and create their own little family, as it all came to an end the characters reflected on their time at the office. Simply heart wrenching.
Esao Andrews
For my presentation I chose Esao Andrews. I mainly chose him as my artist for the presentation because of how influenced I was by his work when I was younger. He illustrated every album for one of my favorite bands, Circa Survive. His unique style and color palettes are what really draw me into his work. Esao's concepts and meanings behind his pieces are truly original and really make him stand out from most modern day oil painters.

Typography
I found an awesome typography piece by Juri Zaech from his Write a Bike collection. The name of this piece is Lovely Friday.
What initially drew me to this work was it's unique design aspect. I never would have imagined writing words with the frame of a bicycle. The gentle curve of the text creates a powerful sense of movement and an overall feeling of unity. The uniqueness of the lettering being worked into the frame of the bicycle generates a strong sense of emphasis that keeps the viewer engaged.
